In Tune

intune

Music sessions for people with dementia or memory problems and their carers in the Marlow area

We are sorry to announce that In Tune will be ceasing at the end of February 2017, due to lack of funding. We are seeking new funding and aiming to set up a new sociable music group soon.

In Tune is a stimulating, supportive and social music group where everyone can have a bit of fun and relax.

People can attend alone, with a carer or a paid care worker. The sessions provide the opportunity to meet other people going through similar experiences – people who understand the demands and complexities of dementia and memory problems.

Music can stimulate past memories and is also a fun way of expressing yourself.  Engagement in music, from passive listening to active participation, can alleviate some of the symptoms associated with dementia.

So why not come along and try it? If you need support to attend, please contact us on 01494 568980 or info@carerstrustcsbucks.org.uk to discuss the options.
