Volunteer

young carer, caring for brother, outsideWe are always interested in hearing from people who would like to offer their skills to support our charity.

Office volunteers

We are keen to hear from people who could help with general administration in our busy offices for half a day a week or more. Tasks would involve filing, photocopying, data entry, archiving, typing and ad hoc projects that are suitable for your skills.

Volunteering with us can help you build your confidence, increase your skills and ensure that you have up to date work experience on your CV.

You can also earn time credits for each hour you volunteer, if you live in Buckinghamshire.

In Tune volunteers

We are interested in hearing from people who enjoy music and talking to new people, and ideally someone who can play the keyboard! This is to support a project we are hoping to re-start, which provides a singing group for people with mild dementia or memory problems and their carers. You will need to be confident rattling off old songs and have a positive and cheery attitude. A professional Care Support Worker will lead the group.

As well as earning time credits you can enjoy a good old sing-song where no one cares what you sound like!

If you would like to discuss this with someone, please contact us or call 01494 568981.

Ealing Carers Service Volunteers

Ealing Carers Service aims to provide a holistic approach in supporting carers living in the London Borough of Ealing. This will be through social activities, support groups and advice, information and signposting.

We are looking for a small team of enthusiastic volunteers who can help us develop a good reputation across the borough.  There is a lot of flexibility within ‘events, outreach and fundraising’ and we are happy for our volunteers to experience a bit of everything or focus on an area they are truly passionate about.
